Athlete’s Foot

Athlete’s foot is a fungal infection that usually occurs between the toes. It's caused by the same type of fungus that causes ringworm and jock itch and thrives in moist, warm environments.

Walking barefoot in warm, damp public areas like locker rooms, saunas, pools, and communal showers can increase the risk of contracting athlete's foot.
