Removal of Moles and Skin Tags

This procedure removes moles or skin tags, either for cosmetic reasons or if they cause discomfort or show signs of malignancy. The doctor numbs the area with local anesthesia and may use excision, snipping, freezing, or cauterization for removal. Stitches may be needed if excised, and the removed tissue may be biopsied if there's a cancer concern.
